5.13.5. Replacement of the water pump

The pump remove for repair or replacement at emergence during its work of the noise which level exceeds the usual and which appears at education big radial люфта a pump shaft, and also at leakage of cooling liquid from under consolidation of a shaft of the pump.

Pump dismantling — quite laborious work therefore at its malfunction we recommend to replace the pump assembled.

It be required to you: a face head «on 10», пассатижи with changeable capture and all tools necessary for removal of a belt of a drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering»), a belt of a drive of the generator and the conditioner compressor (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the generator and the conditioner compressor»), a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and its tension roller»).

1. Merge liquid from system of cooling of the engine (see. «Replacement of cooling liquid»).

2. Remove a belt of a drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering»).

3. Remove a belt of a drive of the generator and the conditioner compressor (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the generator and conditioner compressor»).

4. Remove a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (see. «Replacement of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and its tension roller»)

5. Weaken a collar of fastening of a bringing hose to a branch pipe of the water pump, having compressed пассатижами its unbent ears, shift a collar on a hose...	6.... also disconnect bringing hose from a branch pipe of the water pump.

7. Turn out four bolts of fastening of the water pump to the block of cylinders...	8.... also remove the pump.

9. Clear of the laying remains interfaced surfaces of the block of cylinders...

10.... and cases of the water pump.

11. Establish the water pump and all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.
