5.14.6. Replacement of a regulator of pressure of fuel

Signs of malfunction of a regulator of pressure of fuel:

– unstable operation of the engine;

– engine глохнет idling;

– the increased or lowered frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft idling;

– the engine does not develop full capacity;

– the increased fuel consumption.

Serviceability of a regulator determine by pressure of fuel in a fuel stage at the working engine (see. «Pressure check in a power supply system»).

If pressure is lower or higher than norm, and other elements of system are serviceable, the regulator is faulty. It is necessary to replace it, as it is not maintainable.

The regulator of pressure of fuel is established in the fuel module.

It be required to you: all tools necessary for removal of the module of the fuel pump (see. «Replacement of the module of the fuel pump»), and also stripper of lock rings.

1. Remove the module of the fuel pump (see. «Replacement of the module of the fuel pump»).	2. Disconnect the plug of a "mass" wire from a regulator of pressure of fuel.

3. Unclench a regulator clamp...	4.... also take it from an arm of the module of the fuel pump.

5. Take a regulator of pressure of fuel from a module saddle.

6. Establish details as it should be, the return to removal.
